My whole work drive has been aimed at making people understand each other...
— John Steinbeck

I am a documentary filmmaker. But first I am husband and a father.

I spent the past decade as the founder and director of a non-profit organization, working to bring hope to teens silenced by sex trafficking and exploitation. This experience solidified an empathetic world view that greatly influences my approach to filmmaking.

I make films so that people might see one another, that they might empathetically engage the world around them and recognize their shared humanity.
